GROW Gippsland held an Aboriginal Business Networking event to 21 attendees in Sale on March 29th, combining the expertise of Kinaway Chamber of Commerce, Industry Capability Network and Gippsland Business Connect as platforms for connection and collaboration.

Aboriginal business owners and representatives from government, health, education, energy, technology, construction and mining, also heard from GROW Gippsland Compact Signatory Gary Mongta, owner of Monero Constructions.

Gary discussed his experience being an Aboriginal business owner, the gaps and challenges of creating a place for himself in the industry and the positivity he holds for the future of Aboriginal-owned businesses – stating persistence and pride are key.
