Inspiring, connecting and creating: as easy as 1,2,3!

The GROW Gippsland Compact Action Group met this week at 123 Cafe in Sale to discuss their experience so far of being a Compact Member.

The group first heard from co-owner of 123 Cafe, Rich Lanham, who spoke of the importance of community involvement in the establishment of a social enterprise. He mentioned how proud he and his wife are of the volunteers who come through the cafe, gaining skills and moving on to find employment.

Change management became the topic of choice for the group, with Tanya Heaney-Voogt, Workforce Strategy Advisor, presenting on embedding GROW principles into workplace culture.

How do you embed change in your organisation?

Tanya expressed: ‘you don’t need to be at the top of the tree to lead’!
