Why did you choose to be a part of GROW Gippsland?

Gippsland Building Group chose to join GROW Gippsland as way to connect with other local businesses, projects and potential employees. Our aim at Gippsland Building Group is to help promote and grow the region and having the name “Gippsland” in our business title is very important to us.

What are you doing to support local business?

Gippsland Building Group prides itself in using local suppliers and also promoting local businesses on projects we undertake e.g., local plumbers, electricians etc.

Why do you think it’s important to employ locally?

Gippsland Building Group is a family owned and operated business, it is important to both Directors Lachlan and Todd to recognise the importance by employing local people and actively investing in ongoing training and professional development. We recognise that all members of our skilled onsite construction crew, administrative team and management personnel each play an integral role in our success.

Tell us about a time that you were proud to be a part of your business/organisation:

Our goal was always to take Gippsland Building Group nationally by year 3 and we were able to achieve that within the first 6 months by undertaking a large project with Woolworths in Tasmania.
