Take advantage of all opportunities

GROW Gippsland Compact Member Bairnsdale Regional Health Service(BRHS), recently held a ‘Work Inspiration’ day, organised by The Smith Family, to help students from Bairnsdale Secondary College learn about the world of work and to explore their career options.

The students heard from Allied Health Assistant Amber Buller, who urged students ‘to seek out, and take advantage of, any opportunities they have while still in school’, including career days and work experience.

Earlier in the week BRHS, along with Monash University, also hosted a group of students through Monash’s ‘Hands on Health’ program, giving students in Years 9 to 12 hands-on experience of careers in the healthcare industry.
