What does Social Procurement mean for your business?

GROW Gippsland recently provided ‘Social Procurement for Suppliers’ training at The Goods Shed in Warragul to guests from health, mining, local government, education, training, infrastructure and local business.

Presentations from Colin Young from Industry Capability Network, Emma Hammond from Health Purchasing Victoria, Nina Axaris from West Gippsland Healthcare Group and Wayne Crowley from TAFE Gippsland added to the discussion around social procurement and what it means for local businesses supplying to buying organisations in the region.

The group discussed what the Social Procurement Framework is, any existing experience with social procurement and tools and resources for suppliers to utilise.
