GROW Gippsland Regional Toolkit and Guidance

A series of plain-English, user-friendly resources have been created by GROW Gippsland in consultation with local organisations to help buyers and suppliers to achieve social and local outcomes through procurement.

The templates have deliberately been prepared in Word format so users can easily adapt and incorporate them into their existing templates and guidance.

Further templates and guidance are being created and will be available soon (including: a social procurement 'one pager' overview for suppliers, social procurement plan template, reporting template, and guidance on the interrelationship between the Victorian Government's Social Procurement Framework and GROW Gippsland).

If you have any ideas for the toolkit and guidance or would like to be involved in the Procurement Working Group supporting this project please contact:

GROW Gippsland Regional Procurement Platform

The GROW Gippsland Regional Procurement Platform pilot, powered by VendorPanel Marketplace, is now live.

Buyers simply select a category of work and refine the search by postcode. RFQs can then be sent to multiple suppliers at once, making it easy to open-up your local sourcing.

Aligning with GROW principles, the platform seeks to display that a common platform across the region simplifies the procurement process and improves outcomes for both local buyers and suppliers.

The platform is available to GROW Gippsland Compact Members for a 12-month trial. After the 12 months is up, an individual plan can be established on a self-funded basis. Fees may vary based on your organisation type and scale of use.
