Recent bushfires in the East Gippsland region have had devastating effects on our community. One way to assist locals to rebuild after the crisis is to boost spending on goods & services with local suppliers. GROW Gippsland provides a range of tools specifically designed to make it easy for buyers to:

  • Find and purchase from local suppliers from East Gippsland and across the broader Gippsland region; and
  • Help make sure East Gippsland and Gippsland suppliers are visible to buyers from anywhere looking to purchase locally.

GROW Gippsland is a collaborative approach to local economic development and jobs growth in the Gippsland region, achieved through local and social procurement and inclusive employment.

GROW Gippsland has implemented a regional procurement platform to increase opportunities for local suppliers.

More than 1,300 Gippsland based suppliers are currently registered on the platform and GROW is actively working to on-board suppliers impacted by the bushfires in East Gippsland.

Existing buyers using the regional procurement platform include Tafe Gippsland, East Gippsland Water, Federation University, Latrobe City Council, Latrobe Valley Authority and CPB Contractors.
