CASE STUDY

AML Advisory supports local businesses by providing them with specialist knowledge and practical solutions

Business name: AML Advisory

Why did you choose to be a part of GROW Gippsland?

AML Advisory has been working in Gippsland for over four years, chiefly in the area of defence, and recently accelerated a broader expansion into the region.  The organisation identifies heavily with GROW Gippsland’s key objectives of local, social procurement and, specifically, AML is committed to hiring Gippsland residents for the delivery of its business management and consultancy services within the region. This suitably aligns with AML Advisory’s core objectives to build sovereign capability with our clients, which develops Australian competencies and ultimately, strengthens the national economy.

What are you doing to support local business?

Currently AML Advisory is a member of the Committee for Gippsland and the Industry Capability Network as well as GROW Gippsland.  AML Advisory supports local businesses by providing them with specialist knowledge and practical solutions to achieve complex organisational goals.

Our service offering is in six primary areas:

a.        Asset Management

b.        Procurement

c.        Equipment Sustainment

d.        Program and Project Management

e.        Strategic Logistical Advice

f.         Management and Professional Development

AML consultants are executive level practitioners with cross-industry and Government experience. Our teams are assembled based on industry and client specific variables. This approach enables us the ability to service clients with the highest quality and value through a multi-tiered customised approach to solutions design and implementation. AML strives to deliver sustainable effects for the public and private sectors, and in doing so; “make a difference” in a positive way for all our clients.

Why do you think it’s important to employ locally?

AML Advisory believes that employing locally is highly beneficial as this workforce has a profound understanding of the region’s opportunities and inherent challenges vital to business success.

For example, Latrobe Valley locals have key knowledge of the energy supplying capital and human resources within this region that may be of use to entities wishing to produce energy solutions for the state of Victoria and Australia.

Tell us about a time that you were proud to be a part of your business/organisation:

AML Advisory is to be part of the Gippsland Community Leadership Program in a mentoring capacity and has also offered help to other local community development initiatives on a gratis, as needs basis.
