Supporting local employment opportunities

On September 5, GROW Gippsland held a stall at the 2019 Jobs Fair in Morwell alongside over 40 exhibitors presenting 700 jobs to more than 1,200 job seekers.
Exhibiting on behalf of a group of compact members, the team were able to hear from job seekers in the region and point them towards fantastic job, training or further education opportunities in the region.
GROW Gippsland encourages and supports the practice of inclusive employment, which occurs when organisations take proactive steps to employ people who have experienced barriers to work by offering employment, traineeships or work experience.
